Dr. Norton is a wonderful professor. Her classes are no slack, but she is fair and understanding. It is a lot of work but if you do it, legitimately try, and do it timely she is always understanding and you will learn a lot every course. She is quick to respond if you ask questions and has great advice. She has been my biggest support faculty wise.

Dr. Norton is exceptionally rude and unnecessarily confrontational. I would NOT recommend her to anyone dealing with any sort of anxiety disorders. I will not be taking another class and would expect better communication skills from someone who is teaching counseling courses. I was disappointed in both her class and her personally as a professor.

Even having taken statistics during undergrad, I was weary of this course at first. Not only was I concerned about the content, but also that it was an online course. Dr. Norton was extremely helpful and fair; easing the transition into an online class as well as being available (via email, office hours or phone) for further help/clarity.

The best by far at Edinboro; and one of the best educators I have had in my entire life. If you are willing to work, learn, and challenge yourself you will not be disapointed.

Doesn't teach at all. She shows videos and gives 'case studies' for in class work. Then she wastes classroom time with student presentations. The whole class is set-up so that she doesn't actually have to teach anything. Plus her videos are at least 10 years old, so the info that you do get is outdated. It's obvious she's tenured.

I love her!! She is the most knowledgable and fair person to learn from i have ever met! highly recommended, you learn so much without even realizing it. Yes, you will work hard, but none of the work is impossible. She is the best prof I have ever had!
