Explains assignments well. Makes sures everyone is on track. Do all requirements and revisions for final paper and you'll be fine. My only complaint is she can jibber jabber sometimes but other than that excellent teacher!

Nice lady, explains assignments well, she is willing to help you if you are not understanding a concept, she'll even ask you personally at the end of class if your understanding the material, she also likes to make sure you do well at Lakeland which is not bad at all, I signed up for her 1120 course next semester, highly recommend her

Robb-Smith is great if you get to know her, but the down side is she does NOT explain any of the material, and is NOT clear at all. I had to work my butt off and had to go to the writing center for EVERY piece of work done in that class. That is the only reason why I received an A. If you don't want to do much work, don't take this class

I got an A in every single English class prior to this one. If you don't do things the very EXACT way she does, you get marked off. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH THIS TEACHER. PLEASE. Save yourself the trouble. I recommend Smickilas (sp?). The class is dull sometimes but she is very fair (unlike Robb-Smith).

Horrible teacher. She talks down her students and rushes through your questions when you ask them. She spends more time talking about her personal life than she does about the material she's covering. She has a HUGE ego and makes you feel like you're stupid for getting placed in this class. Her grading is extremely hard.

Amazing teacher! Prior to taking her class, i had no experience in writing papers. By the end of both semesters i took her, i got a B and can write a pretty damn good paper now. thanks! I recommend a student who WANTS to learn english; take her.

I had her for two semesters and I enjoyed them both. She is very helpful if you want to be helped, but has very little patience for the students who aren't willing to learn. I would recommend her to any of my friends.

She truly cares about her students and offers a ton of help BUT she is a lot harder on the more talented writers in class. I wrote every paper the nigh before and got a B in class She gets OFF TOPIC 99% of the TIME! class is extremely boring! she is also very critical on work. she will find mistakes no matter how mny times you fix what she says.

I thought she was pretty easy...yeah i don't remember getting alot of A's on papers but all I did was turn in my work that was due, go to class every day and I got a B+. I never even read the books we were suppose to read...id' recommend her if you want a VERY easy B+ :)

I've never had a hard time getting excellent grades in English before her. We did peer editing and the other student's paper would be crap compared to mine, yet they got A's on theirs, and I'd get a C. It was rediculous and the other students could even see it my way. She was just being extra hard on me because I'm a better writer.
