Dr. Scarbrough is an excellent teacher. She knows what she is talking about and teaches in a clear and easy way. I do not recommend missing lectures because she goes through the lesson and is detailed in the notes. She has extra credit opportunities and in the CHM 151 and CHM 152 class I had with her she made the tests take home, which was awesome!

I would have failed at Chemistry if it wasn't for her. Everything in class is applied and used so you learn it much better than if you took it with a traditional professor. I really enjoyed her class. No anxiety, just know you have to work to learn the material. You will pass, just do the work. She knows her stuff in Chemistry.

Dr. Scarbrough understands that ENG101 is not a prerequisite for this class, so she doesn't assign lengthy papers! Most all of the work is "fill in the blanks" so, if you don't get an A, you didn't do the minimal work required! Labs are interesting and fun and time flies by. Take this course if you're not crazy about science but need the credit.

She is a great professor and will go out of her way to drill the concepts into you. She wants you to succeed and make it to your upper division classes. A must class to take. Only down probably is that she doesn't have office hours and her packets she gives you are disorganized or mixed up, but just tell her and she'll fix it.

I was so apprehensive about chemistry prior to taking this course. I found this course extremely easy as she allows you to review your work over and over again until you grasp the concepts. I would highly recommend taking her chem 130 along with lab.

I took chemistry 152 online it?s by far the best online class I have ever taken! All the assignments and material is given to you through blackboard! You do need a chemistry book to look up the information and calculations. The professor responses to emails quickly which is great!

I took this right after 151 over summer. 151 was a breeze but I got hung up on the first 3 assignments: nuclear chem, kinetics, etc. A lot of work, unclear examples. The book cleared it up a little. If you do take it don't wait till last minute, especially on the lab. Luckily she gave me an incomplete and I finished it over another month for an A

I took this in the summer. You get everything and just have to finish it by the end. she even gives extensions most of the time. I slacked off and still got an A in the last week. She is awesome and it's easy so a great way to pass off chemistry reqs. the first half is labor intensive but the last half you just copy and paste from a site. A++++++++

Easiest and painless class I have ever taken. Its a great way to get rid of another credit in a very short period of time. Allows you to take ANY test up to three times for the best score. At home lab is easy and kinda fun. Easiest chem class I've ever taken

Once again an outstanding semester with Dr. Scarbrough. She is so helpful, takes an interest in her students progression, and is always there to offer advice and help in anyway. She loves what she does and does it well. I have never met a better professor. A role model for other professors to aspire to I think. Will not see better, even at ASU.

Took the 151 internet course in the spring of '10. You are given everything you need for the course upfront, and a final due date, I finished the class/labs in a week. She is not tough on grading and will help you if you get stuck; although it does take time to get a reply. DON'T BUY THE BOOK! All of the information for the tests is given to you.

Took her online course in summer session. There were so many errors in both her lecture notes and labs that it made it very difficult to understand. It looked like she took someone else's materials and didn't even review them before she posted. Responded very slowly to communication attempts, which in a 3 week course was terrible.

The best chemistry Professor ever. Took her online CHM 152 class. Too bad she doesn't teach CHM 235. Would love to take CHM 235 and 236 with her.
