Comment:

Considered the hardest class at GCC, and it shows. Disrespectful of your time, makes you spend extra time outside of class to finish class work while people are missing their other classes. Uses the most irritating online hw that makes it feel like a quiz, and just shrugs as if it's no big deal. Take another professor at a different school.

Dr. Frank is knowledgeable and is willing to help. He gives out a lot of work and his tests can be a little challenging. I'd normally have to work on class work out of class 7/10 times. Although the amount of work was a lot, it helped me understand the material. He can be a little disorganized at times, but is a relatively quick grader.

Great teacher, but can be hard to follow sometimes. He definitely has a passion for math and engineering and it shows. Lots of homework (do it, its easy points!), but also has lots of extra credit if you need a boost. Tests can be challenging, but are mostly multiple-choice (except extra credit questions). Very easy going!

Dr. Frank is tough but fair, there isn't any other teacher that I would rather learn from then him. I appreciate his sense of humor, especially on some of his tests and quizzes. He is very respectable and willing to help you out. If you work hard you will pass his classes.

Dr. Frank is easily one of the best instructors I've ever had, hands down. I took this class here instead of ASU cause I actually wanted to learn it and boy was that a great idea. Most people did not pass, but they did not fault him, the material is just hard. Works you hard but if you give the effort there is no better man to learn circuits from:)

Dr. Frank is by far one of the best teachers on the SMCC campus. He is tough but extremely fair and competent. Dr. Frank is patient and kind but can throw it down when need be. Do not try to cheat in his class, you will get caught and you will fail. He is available for help during his office hours and is always on time. Thanks Dr. Frank!

Dr. Frank is possibly the best instructor I've had thus far in my engineering degree. I took his course a few semesters ago and skills that I learned in his class are applicable to courses that I'm taking now. I wish he was my teacher for every engineering course. He's very smart and requires out-of-the-box thinking. Heavy work load but worth it

I actually have not taken a class with Dr. Frank but have participated in some of his engineering projects, and I am very happy I know him. He is one of the most dedicated faculty member I have met at SMCC.He truly cares about teaching.Makes real-life, hands-on engineering experience available to students, and that's awesome!

Too much work for 2 credit class. Poor prep. for exams which include unfamiliar types of problems. One needs to have a solid background in physics and calculus in order to succeed in this class.

3rd class with Dr Frank. I like him a lot, he likes to joke around with students. 2 criticisms on this class: 1) didnt like the powerpoint lectures at all. It would have helped if he stopped to explain things better. 2) If you ask Dr Frank for help, he just solves the problem or fixes your matlab program for you without explaining things.

Dr. Frank is an excellent teacher. He explains topics well and is always willing to help. However, his tests are notoriously difficult, especially his mid and finals! Do the homework, or you have no chance on the tests. I still highly recomend.

This was a tough course for sure. However, I must say that I learn more in Dr Frank's classes than most others. Ive heard from other studnets that this course is the hardest of all of Dr Franks Classes. Good course though, would recomend.

This class has a lot of work for a 2 credit course. It is very easy to fall behind. Dr. Frank is a great teacher, and if you need help, ask. Cheat once, fail the assignment, cheat twice, fail the class!

He is very tough. He is willing to help, but he's difficult to understand. He does not have much patience. It could be his age, he is quite young. Do all assignments!! Go to all classes!! Cheat, and he will fail you no questions asked.
