Comment:

She is super nice and is easy to get a hold of outside class, but her grading is extremely inconsistent. She takes off points for the most trivial things (for example, you cannot start a sentence with "There" in her class). She doesn't grade if you can write, but if you can write her way. It's still an easy class, just be ready to adapt.

Professor Susan is a decent choice for RH131. She does give tests, but if you read the stories she assigns, they should be relatively easy. She gives multiple essays, and these can be tough, but if you go in and talk to her she will give you good feedback.

Lots of reading -- but it is all interesting and short. She is alright for lectures, but the reason I loved her as a prof is she was incredibly accessible outside of class and was willing to spend a bunch of time with me on every assignment.

There are study guides due at every week but once you get the format down they're fairly easy. Apparently she is one of the professors who gives tests for English class and has text books. When giving writing assignments there are normally 4 or 5 options to choose from. Personally, I thought it was easier than senior AP Lit in high school.

Hard grader when it comes to essays, tests, and study guides. She does come off as mean at first, but is really a nice person. The workload is more than any of my other classes combined. You have essays, projects, a research paper, and readings. She expects a lot out of students in an intro college English class. I'd say avoid her if possible.

Smith was a great teacher once you get past the occasional yelling and staring at the ceiling:) I didn't learn much from her but she was an interesting prof and the class was not hard to sit through. The project was pretty hard but the papers are a sinch and the tests are kind of a joke so don't worry if you have her, you'll be fine.

She graded all of the papers very hard, and there was a lot of homework and essays, but she is probable one of the most helpful teachers i have ever had. If u don't do goo din the class it is your own fault. Make sure to ask questions in and out of class on all of the assignments.

Very boring lectures, hard to stay awake in the morning. The tests are pretty easy as long as you read the assigned readings, however she assigns a lot at least 2 times a week. She grades papers pretty tough, and "study guides" are a dumb idea.
