Terrible professor. Expects you to know the information. Speaks vey low and unclear. Does not explain himself, basically does the problems you are confused on with no explanation of how why. Book work and online homework EVERY SINGLE NIGHT and book work is turned in before class and graded.

He is a professor that is to smart to be a professor. He assumes that you know what you're doing. Worst teacher I've ever had. He is funny at times but that doesn't make up for the lack of teaching ability.

Expect homework every night. He seems to assume students know everything even while teaching new lessons. Tends to write newunknown material on the board without explanation. He has horrible handwriting and is angered if you ask him to clarify something he wrote on the board. Doesn''t respond to emails. Often makes mistakes while doing examples.

Eh, this class goes either way really. Some days it's really easy and others it isn't. Just try to pay attention...oh and try not to get too confused when he messes up the simplest of problems; addition/multiplication/division/subtraction, these things are not strong points for him.

Dr. Lindgren is definitely not as bad as people make him out to be. I actually enjoyed his class. He's very clear on what he expects from you and overall he's a good professor. He might make a few minor mistakes, but who doesn't? He's also more than happy to help you during office hours. Don't be afraid to take him.

I feel like one of the only people who actually enjoyed Dr. Lindgren. This is the first class where I actually felt like I was in college and not 13th grade. Study and dedicate time outside of the classroom to this class and you will do fine. I got an easy A+ in this class and I hate math usually. Lindgren isn't bad as long as you're not lazy. TAKE

He does simple arithmetic wrong and cannot understand why he gets the wrong answers. He used the problems in the book and uses the formulas wrong. He may be a very nice intelligent person but he does NOT know how to teach. Tutors cannot explain why or how he is calculating problems. DO NOT TAKE HIM.

He was unclear and often made mistakes on a problems. He would say it was incorrect but expect you to know how to do it for the homework and many tests. He would not answer questions in class and would send you away from his office. He skipped around in the book and my tutor didn't understand what methods he was trying to use or what he was doing.

He was very difficult to take as a professor. He is a very smart man but has no sympathy for students. Homework every day due the next day. I don't want to have him as a professor again. This course is for my major and I'm waiting to take it again when he's not teaching it. Definitely pick another professor if you have to take this course.

makes the class twice as hard than it should be. homework every day and due the next day so if you have trouble on homework you are out of luck cause collects at beginning of period.. hard to hear so sit in front of the class. doesnt work out example problems fully because "doesnt want to give away the problem" to you.

discrete is a hard class in general. he did everyhitng he could to help you. as long as you go to class and show him that you are trying he will pass you. take him if you get a chance, as long as you are willing to try.

The issue with this class was that despite getting a right answer, you can still miss major points. I got a C on a quiz in which all my answers were correct just because I didn't explain it in the way he wanted me to. If you can think on your feet and do math in your head, you could have issues in this class. Many head banging typos in his book.

Discrete is a tough class but it wasnt because of Lingren. he def expects a lot out of his students & pushes you hard. curved every test. homeworks were graded fairly & werent normally hard. discrete IS a hard class. i liked lingren tho. he'll always help you if you ask. hes very funny once he opens up to you. if you try he'll give you at least a C

Worst experience of my entire life. Hate him more than anyone else in the world. Went to his office after class everyday to get help and left there more confused than before. He acted like I was dumb if I would ask a question. Not much help AT ALL. doesnt explain anything clearly. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.
