Her class was awful. Lectured based with heavy material. Being talked to for an hour was absolutely dreading.. Half the times I would leave the class confused and questioning what she said throughout the lecture. She is not helpful and doesn't provide assistance. If you're struggling with the exams she won't help therefore its an automatic fail.

Awful professor. All of her courses consisted of heavy material and lecture based. Class felt like eternity especially because she doesn't use power points and instead talks to the class the whole time. The material was boring and the class itself had very little things to boost up the difficult exams. Exams were impossible and she was not helpful.

Vorderer's European Exp. classes are all lectures, so prepare to take a lot of notes. Her tests are based largely on the material she presents in the lectures. If you study your notes well, the exams are not that bad. She is very caring and encourages students to come see her if they don't understand the content or need help drafting an essay.

If you struggle with history courses or not a history major, DO NOT take her class. She is very nice and gives detailed notes, but her work is extremely hard. Very tough grader and it will be hard to even pass the class. I wouldn't take her class because of the difficulty, but she really is a great, knowledgeable woman.

I have had her for another year, she is passionate and has full knowledge of 20th Century European History. Very lecture and not a lot of technology but I am an auditorial learner and she keeps the lecture vert lively and passionate. She did not give us a lot of homework, just readings and to study our notes. Our grade was based off of tests

Passionate about French Rev. Great, informative lectures. No group work, thank baby Jesus. Assigns one book review paper. Assigns many books, though I found no one read them (myself included) and they were not necessary in order to perform well on an exam. Fair teacher.

She is my favorite history professor at Merrimack. Not the easiest. But her lectures are definitely the most interesting. If you're looking for an easier prof, take Shockro. But Vorderer is definitely the most interesting.

Very good teacher. Had her for both Western Civ 1 and 2. Class is hard though. Prepare to take notes constantly Very hard grader, papers will get torn apart. Discussions on books are not bad just annoying. Really good teacher though you will learn a lot just be prepared for hard work and late nights studying for her tests.

She is by far the best teacher at merrimack. Her classes are very interesting, she is very pleasant, and very helpful outside of class. All her required reading books are actually worth reading and she takes the time to answer any questions you may have. Definitley take one of her classes.

She is very pleasant but this class is demanding. Her lectures are clear but dont be mislead because her tests are tricky. The IDs are never the major subjects. She is a tough grader. This class is not a joke, dont take it to merely fill a humanities.

Even though attendance for class wasn't mandatory, you have to go in order to pass because there is no textbook. Always checks to make sure students understand. Makes the lectures interesting and easy to follow. Tests are all essay and ID but easy if you have taken notes and gone to class. Great teacher and wish I could have taken more with her :-)

Lectures are interesting and easy to follow. Tests are based mostly on the notes. THe reading section of the test is hard. Attendance isn't mandatory. Gives one hard short paper to write. Its not a hard class if your good at history.
