Highly recommended. Answers emails extemely fast. Friendly and helpful. Curves tests which can be challenging. Wish she taught Managerial Accounting instead of Wilke.

Took online. Homework was time consuming and did not prepare you for the mid-term or final exam at all. those two were very hard but she seemed to help the students out with a curve. ended up with a B overall good class all work is on your own.

Took her ONLINE; never met her personaly (she didn't show up for orientation.) Homework is great with unlimited tries to get 100. Homework was nothing like midterm/final. Tests go real deep, with confusing multiple choice answers. The homework doesn't prepare you for the kind of questions. Ended up with a B after final test received extra points.

I really enjoyed this class. I haven't taken an Accounting class since '93. The web interface was nice too, you can get plenty of prictice on the homework and submit it once you receive a 100. I plan on taking her for Managerial Accounting.

Well i had to take this course two times to pass it. The 1st semester i took it she left half way through the semester and left us with a sub. :( But the second time through i did well. As long as you make it to class and pay attention you'll pass.

Her syllabus spells it out for you.There are 40 references to students being lazy and asking for exceptions.Her course is all mutli-choice except one assignment which she weights and uses to take a letter grade away from her students. If you ever have to email her expect a nasty gram reply. If you take her class buy her a new broom for her commute

Worse teacher ever. The class started off with 30 students. Ended with 6.Dont believe students who say shes great. She tried to drop me for missing 1 class. Didnt tell me about it until I finished the class...2 months later. When trying to deal with that. She flunked me on my project which should have ben a 100 just so I wouldnt pass. She sucks.

Mrs. Oliver is my favorite teacher I have had in college. I respect her very much as a person and a teacher. She is always more than happy to help you. Accounting is not easy but she explains it very clearly so anybody can understand. She is very organized. She gives a schedule with the syllabus. She is GREAT!

I had accounting 1 and it was a friday only class. If you dont feel like paying attention in class dont take this class. I never go to tutoring but I went to the lil Japanise lady and she helped alot. I went every wed before the test. I think that is wat really helped me make an A. Plus the fact that she did give us a curve.

I took ACG 1 and 2. both were difficult classes, so you'll have to come to every class and study, but if you do these things--you will pass. She is a great teacher--easy to understand and interesting. She has a great personality. She gives a project to all of her classes that is worth 20% of your grade, but it's not too bad.

Don't even think of taking another instructor for any accounting class. She is the best instructor in general at OWC. I truely enjoyed her class and she has taught accounting so well and made is so easy for me to learn. I wanted to get into the accounting field and she has just confirmed that is what I want to do. I plan on taking more classes.
