This professor and this class are both awful. Selig pretends to care about your situation, but she doesn't. She is condescending, and flaunts her many degrees often. She is too disorganized, and talks far too much. This class is merely a stepping stone to get through. Be prepared for several resume and interview workshops with no new material.

She is a nice, friendly professor and the resources (especially video, guest speakers) she uses in class are quite helpful. But her instructions for assignments & group projects are not very clear so you better make sure you talk to her and understand what she expects you to do otherwise be ready to lose your points. Be prepared to read a lot.

I absolutely enjoyed her as a teacher!!! she reminds me of a sweet old ladygrandma. SUPER EASY. only had to turn in one assignment every other week. NO TESTS!!! final exam was a short paper. you don't even have to show up its so easy... but she does take attendance. She has a cute corky personalty.

This professor is horrible. The writing assignments are unclear, she is unorganized, she's rude and in considered. If I would've known then what I know now I would have avoided this class, because it was definitely made harder than it needed to be!!!!

Selig is a very poor listener. She lets students talk, but does not acknowledge what they have to say. She is too busy trying to think of what she wants to say next. Very unclear on her guidelines for assignments. Changes things last minute.

Refrain from taking this lady at all costs! She rides around on her high horse like she's the queen of the land. You're always wrong and she's always right. You have no opinion. Attendance is mandatory- forget a family emergency or being sick. Extremely fake. Talks down to you. AVOID TAKING HER. Uses her position to her advantage!

Refrain from taking her in a 3hr class. She constantly talks. Attendance is mandatory regardless of illness. She's the head of the dept.& uses it to her advantage. Doesn't hesitate to put you on blast in front of everyone. Comes off friendly at first- and true colors begin to show a few wks in. Can be quite ignorant &only hears what she wants to!!

I would not recommend this professor at all. She is the head of her department and you can tell that she will use that as an advantage. She will belittle a student, and will completely disrespect them. Her thoughts are not clear and she repeats herself CONSTANTLY. Her assignments are unclear and just busy work. Reminds me of high school.

This three hour class should not be taught by a professor who talks and talks and talks. Although she has enthusiasm, she gets too into her own eplanation that she looses the class. Very hard grader on papers. I had her for cultural competence, she has favorites and it is clear.

I've only had her for a one credit class, I can't say for sure what she's like in a 300 level class. While she seems eccentric and strict, most of her complaints towards the students were about simple things like showing up on time and turning off their phones. PROFESSIONALISM! She lets you know right off what she expects.

This is a very good class to have on your resume. You may be uncomfortable, at first, but worth it. She is passionate about the topic, and sometimes comes across poorly, but her heart is in the right place. DO YOUR JOURNAL and go to every class!! Be honest and detailed when doing assignments...she wants to see that you are thinking.

She does say what is on her mind, it is her point to make you uncomfortable. Some people have a problem with this, but others will actually learn something from it She is a great acquintance for those who actuallly want to get a job after grad she knows anyone and everyone in the Health field. You don't have to marry her, just learn what applies 2U

She's crazy! She can be hard to follow and is not very clear. She repeats herself often and assignments can be redundant, repetitious and sometimes pointless. I have heard this is one of her better classes. As long as you do your weekly journal and show up you'll do fine. Most of the class is group work and videos.
