I loved Dr. Sinke's grad seminar on gender. She really cares about her students, and you can tell that she puts a great deal of effort into her teaching. The readings were fascinating! Dr. Sinke always provided a structure (guiding questions on the syllabus) to discussions, and we always remained on topic. This class was my favorite this semester!

This class was ridiculous!There was no cohesiveness to it.She just had us read SO MUCH!!She did daily attendance "quizzes" and our tests were essays. And if you didn't give every detail we talked about you got a C-, period. She's a nice person but this class sucked!! DO NOT TAKE IT. It's by no means an easy A, and you don't really learn anything.

Only had her for seminars. Good seminar instructor; great knowledge of field; extremely helful outside of class; average reading load for grad class; needs to work on feedback on written work, but will help you out with improving your research; Overall, excellent as a grad teacher.

This class involves a lot of reading, but the it isn't very challenging. If you take the time to get to know Dr. Sinke, she's a wonderfullady who is very willing to help you if you make the effort. Best advice for her class: go to office her office hours to get advice/help on a paper- your grade will be well above everyone else in the class.

Sinke is a very knowledgable and I thought her lectures and class format were great. In this class (Women in Modern America) she assigns moderate amounts of reading, the majority of which are actually interesting, and has more of a discussion than a lecture during class. She is extremely helpfulpful outside of class and willing to work with you.

Interesting subjects, but kind of hard to stay attentive. I thought she was very educated but stad-offish until i had to go home early due to medical reasons and she really understood and was a great help. Passed with a B, overall nice woman.

Yup shes still drink the water, and can't pronounce her "wh"'s, not so bad as a teacher but assigns an unimaginable amount of reading, Theres a family history paper and i believe the final is an essay test.Quizes in class so read & come prepared
