Such a lovely person and is so enthusiastic about what she teaches. Took the psychoanalysis class. WARNING: there is a lot of reading an analysis involved, but participation in class is not necessary. She goes over the reading in class and quizzes every week, but you can write whatever during the quizzes. This class blew my mind.

Verderber is wonderful - First of all, she teaches the most interesting classes, I have already taken her twice and have just signed up for a third class solely because they all sound great. She is excited when you are excited, but her enthusiasm for the material is sure to boost yours, even after a long day or early morning.

Always cheerful and ready to listen if you need anything. Quizzes are assigned every class, but she is very sincere on grading. She's very philosophical and gets you thinking. The books you read will be hard but she is very understanding when it comes to grading. In the end your grade is reflected through progress in class above anything else.

She really gets you through writing good essays and her discussions are brilliant! Although you have quite amount of reading assignments, the following discussions are always fun. Just to give you a tip, you don't need to finish the readings she gives because you will catch up during discusions but read all before writing the essays.

her laugh is uinnerving--aside from that, though at times it was interesting, for the most part class dragged on, little got achieved & the students are left with massive amounts of work. she is indecisive about her requirements-- changing her mind about assignments when some already completed them!

this class is an ABSURD AMOUNT OF WORK and reading -- 2-3 page papers due every week, and 3 of the papers are 5 pages long (minimum). theres a lot of reading that is complicated that you have to do every week. this class will take up a ton of your time!
