One of the worse teachers I have ever had. She is a nice lady and she means well but for a 3credit class she will RUN YOU INTO THE GROUND. I am an honors student and I understand the importance of hard work, but after being chosen as her Project Director for the class i have unofficially became her TA for the semester... for no extra credit. AVOID!

Most useless teacher youll ever find. After reading her 18 pg outline of the "online course" it states shes always available for questions. True but it should have a side note..With condescending attitude.Theres a reason she's an online teacher do what ever you can to avoid her. BTW all the good comments are most likely her on here.

If you have any other option DO NOT take this teacher. Her syllabus is 28 pages long. Her online class REQUIRES you to post 5 of 7 days a week (defeating the purpose of an online class for students who work full time) Often gives quizzes unannounced so they are missed. Unorganized and very rude and condescending when you ask questions.

Human Resource Mgmt; took Spring 09, along with 5 other classes and got an A. Just read the book, do the work, think outside the box.This prof. is not a babysitter, but makes you think for yourself, a necessary skill for the owrkplace. Take if you are looking to succeed as a manager...don't take for sliding through a class.

Within 2 weeks of the summer online class, we were responsible for 287 pages of text info, 4 WSJ article responses, daily discussion online about text, planning for group project and daily progress reports on individual involvement in said project, 2 exams on text. 31 page syllabus contradicts itself with Fall semester info. PREPARE ACCORDINGLY!!!!

Picture carrying Osama Bin Laden's child and being forced to line your shoes with shards of glass for an entire semester. This is what taking a class with Sylvia Keyes is like. Also count on being mercilessly corrected on grammar and spelling via Blackboard, then receiving an email in which the fictional word "VERBOTIN" is repeated (doesn't exist)

Taking the class now, very unclear about what is going on and what needs to be done but acts like its obvious. Repeats herself and goes over class time everytime. Doesn't answer questions but instead asks you what you think. Makes no sense most of the time and just says how much of an opportunity being in her class is. Don't take her.

Almost every student despises this woman. She primarily teachers Marketing Principles. How can BSC still keep her around? What does this say about how much the MGMT Dept cares about students opinions? She is very very tough, but overall will help you out if she notices your input into the class. There is a VERY LARGE amount of web-discussion REQUIRED, almost to the point where this sound be a hybrid course. Again, it's not a easy course but you feel good about the grade you get at the end. :)
