Amazing teacher! She's funny and makes it feel like it's not even a class. Her lectures are entertaining. She gives out study guides for the tests that have half of the questions. As long as you do the reading you'll pass. Definitely my favorite professor I've ever had.

Pirtle is an amazing professor. Not only does she lecture very well but she makes the class fun. She's not mean and she's definitely not boring. She makes the class enjoyable while actually learning and participating. She will make you work for the grade you want.

She is really a great professor. Not once was her class boring. She always kept the students engaged. She was funny and easy-going but managed to get the material across. Furthermore, this class is about material everyone should know. Pirtle is just an awesome person altogether.

She is honestly the best sociology teacher ever!!!! I loved her. The lectures were always interesting and she always knew how to make the class laugh. She is very helpful with anything you need. Besides the mandatory reading everything else was great, she even gives mini study guides for her test! I would take this class again in a heart beat.

Professor Pirtle is the best! she is a great teacher and her lectures are fun and not boring at all. When asking for advice or help she will help. Don't use your phone In class she will put you on the spot. it's one of her pet peeves besides that I recommend her class.

She's an amazing teacher!! I LOVED her class. She's very easy going and explains things in a way you'll understand. You do have to read the chapters because, trust me, it will make your life easier. Her tests aren't hard especially if you do the reading. 4 test 1 group project. But don't be afraid the class is so fun you'll be sad to go.

Diane Pirtle was a cool professor. She likes what she does and is quite funny! Type of professor that listens to you. Shes not hard. There are only 4 tests and a group project at the end of the semester. Reading the book is ESSENTIAL to passing the class.

Super, super funny. Expert about the topic and how its involved in everyday life. Great lectures. Study the notes and you will pass. Simple as that. She is the class clown. I adore her! Ms. Pirtle will make you feel at home. Very funny and caring, and she's just amazing! I wish I could take her again and again. Study the study guides. I do recommend getting her book because you have to browse through it to find the answers for the study guide. Besides, who doesn't enjoy reading sex!? 4 tests one project. Easy!
