I did not learn anything during his class, he would lecture more about life lessons and would never explain how the problems were suppose to be worked. If you asked a question he would do partial of it and then he would say this is mickey mouse stuff, too simple. he would get frustrated for asking questions. no calculators. take someone else.

Dr. Teng can be a great teacher, but only if you allow him to be. If you expect to just sit in on class and not pay attention, you will fail. He expects you to pay attention and ask questions, as a good teacher should. Also, do the homework; his lecture and quizzes are based on them. Just show that you want to learn, and you will be rewarded.

If you need help he is willing to help you.I took him over a summer semester and at first was a little nervous because of the things I had heard but honestly he's one of the best math teachers Ive had.I strongly recommend him!

He is very tolerant and willing to break things down for people that catch on quickly. I think he gets a bad rap cause of brats that think they are still in high school. Even with them acting foolish he doesn't toss them out. I have taken almost all the professors there are at Brazosport. He definitely is one of the best.

if you know your stuff he is a great teacher. i however don't and took him during the summer. bad idea, way too fast. he spent half the time explaing that he had explained the topic so we couldn't say he didn't. doesn't make sense to you? yeah, me neither. im guessing he has had some complaints.

If Math is part of your career field, TK is your man. He is sweet, intelligent, honest and very helpful (especially during office hours). An A is certainly possible, but if you aren't all interested in math and are looking for an easy A, I would look elsewhere.

All he tells you is he uses the bicycle method. Does not teach only gives you homework and the next class all you do is go over questions from the homework you didn't understand or had problems with. In other words if your not good in math or good at teaching yourself about something you know nothing about then don't take T.K. he sucks as a teacher

He is a very nice man. Will help when you need it. Drop rate is high. I found that because he has a severe accent it is hard to understand him. However, as someone pointed out, if the place you transfer to has the same problem you have to deal with it. I would choose another teacher since math is not a strong point of mine.

This is the best teacher I have had at this sorry excuse for a college! He is what actual colleges and universities have as professors. He expects you to work, but that's what college is... work! You shouldn't be handed your grades. He is a very good teacher and very patient if you don't understand. He is very honest and will tell you if he thinks you can make it through his class or not. He answers every single question you have and makes himself available to you for extra help outside class as well.

I think he makes the class a bit harder than the rest of the teachers, but he is willing to help you, but you must have specific questions, not just "what should i do?" You must be ready to work HARD, and do your homework.
