The teacher is good. He warns you that the beginning material is a bit hard to understand but it gets easier later. That's exactly what happened. A bit frustrating in the beginning but later became easier. His teaching methods are decent and he is very helpful.

If you have zero knowledge about engineering and want to start from the ground up, I recommend him for your intro class. He explains things very well and thoroughly, if you have a question don't be shy to ask. Overall, enjoyed the class with this professor. Don't be scared about the final, it's easy--it's open book/notes.

Many people don't consider him easy, but I thought he was wonderful. This is not a slacker's class. If you want to learn, you will get that in his class. He explains very well in his lectures, and always helps when you have a question. One of the things that makes prof. Krause a great one, is that his tests and exams reflect the homeworks.
