This class would've been interesting w/ other profs but with him it was a complete joke. Literally reads off his slides and delivers the material in a less than engaging way (i.e. boring). Time is better spent going through his notes than attending lectures. If you want to be a TLog major AVOID him as he won't inspire interest in the subject matter

This prof was completely useless in all aspects. He was not an efficient teacher. The only reason why I got a good grade was because I studied on my own. Completely vague about everything, thinks he knows what he is talking about and yells at us for his mistakes. Don't take him under any circumstances.

Professor Oum is a good prof overall. He's pretty monotone but you can tell that he did try to improve his teaching after the early-feedback. He has good notes but the textbook is an easy read anyways. Exams are all written but the questions are pretty straight forward. The class average was too high so we had to be scaled down.
