Dr. You was a great biology professor. He does have a pretty heavy accent, but I personally didn't find it to be an issue. Your grade is based solely off the tests, but he offers extra credit opportunities after every test to help bring your grade up. He cares a lot about his students and does everything he can to ensure your success.

His accent is super difficult to understand. His power points and exams are written the exact way he speaks. He doesn't offer much help to a student and can be very condescending. Although he tells you don't need to buy/read the textbook, you need to. He doesn't give homework or quizzes-just exams.

Comment:

Dr. You is a great professor as well as a great person. He truly cares about each student succeeding not only in his class, but also in classes to come. He craves a solid relationship with each student outside of class and welcomes questions. The only negative about Dr. You is that he is difficult to understand at some times during lectures.

Dr. You was hard to understand. Gave us water breaks in the middle of class, and occasionally played karaoke James Taylor videos featuring animals and landscapes. Tests covered basic material, but you had better study it on your own.

I had Dr. You for Genetics, Basic Biology, as well as a lab instructor for BioChemistry. He was by far one of my favorite professors. He cares more for the students than any professor I have ever had. Only negatives would be clarity as his accent is still very strong and he tends to ramble.

Dr. You is one of the most kind and helpful professors at Campbell. He will help you out of any situation even at 3am. His tests are hard but he grades easy. If you study and go to him for help you can get an A. I've taken 3 courses with him and wish there was more. Hes always helpful and happy to see you.

The best professor at Campbell. I cannot say enough good things about this man. Unlike every other professor, he cares and makes time to make his students feel loved. He will tell you that he loves you and may even sing you a song. He is God's gift to the Earth. If you have a chance to take his class, do it. It will change your life.

Dr. You is my absolute favorite professor at Campbell.He cares about his students and is willing to make time for you after class to help you. He also has a great sense of humor which really eases any tension you might feel.I also had no issues understanding his accent.I recommend you take him 100%!

Dr. You is the sweetest man known to mankind. He actually cares about his student like I've never seen. He tries to give students a good grade. Usually students say he is hard to understand when they are critical and lazy. For genetics, BUY THE TEXTBOOK! A lot of his questions on the test are right out the book.

Dr. You is super kind and he hates giving out bad grades. He takes every chance to boost grades so if you get less than an A, that's on you! Show up to class and sit in the front and he will love you! Also make effort to stop by his office! This man has changed my life. I took him for Genetics, Molecular Techniques, and for research. His genetics class was by far one of the hardest classes I have ever taken, but it was rewarding. He was a mentor in the classroom, in research, and in life. He wrote reference letters for jobs and grad schools. I consider him a friend even today.
