I love Dr. Schneider. She's funny, helpful and her lectures are interesting. Read the book and attend class and you'll do fine. Tests straight from book. Really interesting person and great lecturer!

Comment:

Extremely funny professor. Makes every class interesting. Was the only class I had this quarter that I was actually excited to attend. Definitely makes you take a second look at how you live your life and makes you want to change your eating and exercise habits if they're already nonexistent.

The class was a lot of work (a 1-page paper due every class, a 5ish page paper due at the end of the quarter, a group presentation), but still less than other 487 professors require. She talked about her family a lot which was nice because it showed she's a real person. She tried to get the class to talk but hardly anybody did.

Comment:

She is really nice, kinda crazy, and funny. I suggest buying the study guide & studying it so you don't have to read every chapter cause they are very long. Focus on specifics like the medicine for the disorder or what in the brain is affected by it, cause the tests are very specific. Paragraph due every class, but its not too bad.

Well, I was really suprised to read all the good ratings that she got. I thought the class was easy. I also thought that she BS'ed her way through the quarter. Her lectures were pointless, but had to attend b/c she collected a paragraph almost every class (she didn't read them) The only information she knows is what is in the text. NOT RECOMMENDED

She likes what she does, and expects you to as well. Takes attendance through in-class assignments and homework. An easy A, but a little too boring (not her, this class) and skipping is difficult.

Great teacher and very intelligent in her field. She has you had in a paragraph about what you learned from the chapter, but don't worry you can read one section and wright on that. These people who are bashing her are crazy. I never read all the chapters and got an A. Her tests are out of fifty but are fifty five questions so you have some freebie

I feel that she may have chosen her field in order to get insight into her personality. She is different in a not good way. I didn't enjoy her class at all and got nothing out of it, except stories about why her family isn't crazy. I would caution my worst enemy to avoid her like the plague.

Class was ok. She seems to overbook herself a lot, and just barely be able to do her workload. May result in receiving grades or papers back late. She is ok to talk with if you know the right way to approach her. She seems highly critical though, and a lot of my classmates are afraid to even talk to her at all.

She is a good prof. Loves helping. Exams are hard, but if you study you should do decent. 5 exams, drops the lowest. There are short writing assignments due every class period, but are not difficult. I'd recomend her for Abnormal Pshych.

She is a great teacher. I learned so much. She makes every class interesting and I love her personality. Wish I could take more classes with her. WSU needs more teachers in the Psy dept who are that enthusiastic about the subject and teaching.
