Tara is great! She is so helpful and will take the time to repeat information when you don't understand. She is very good at "dumbing down" harder concepts to make learning easier. If you need that extra help she can be reached at almost any time of day in person or through email. She also is really helpful with resources outside the class too.

Tara is the absolute best! She's an amazing person, and is always available for help. If you seek her out for help, you will do well. She responds very quickly to emails! She can speak very fast, skip around a lot, and sometimes be unclear. Don't be afraid to speak up and ask for help during class, others are definitely confused too.

I had tara last semester and her class requires you to pay attention but in a good way. She is very hands on & there for her students. She wants students to be successful & understand the information. I recently visited her for internship help & she gave good advice & emailed me extra information. She truly cares about her students & is helpful.

Dr. Crowell was a great professor to have. She always let us out early and made class enjoyable. The only downside is that all of the work was done on your own time. She explained the assignments in class, but you had to really work for an A. She gives excellent feedback on all of your work and is a timely grader. I would take her again.

I LOVE her as a teacher. I'm debating taking her statistics class even if I don't need it because of how much I like her teaching. She's very interactive with the students and really knows how to turn her class into a community.

Professor Crowell never explained anything enough in class. all of the assignments were done on your own and if you had questions she got aggravated with you and didn't give a useful answer. She may be a decent math teacher but when it comes to her public speech class she might as well not even show up for all the good she did.

She is a fantastic professor. Class is so easy and she usually lets you out early. Best classes are speech days cuz you ust listen to everyones. You do have to write and present a lot of speeches, but thats what you sign up for. She is always there to help you with speech topics and constantly checks her emails. I would definatley take her again

i liked her in the beginning of the year but the further we got into the class, she got really impatient all the time and seemed like she didnt want you to bother her. we had to figure out what to do ourselves, there was almost no in-class instruction, all of her lectures felt like they were pointless and off topic

She can b a tough grader & yes she talk fast, but she is so interested in seeing students succed She seems intimidating at first, but get 2 no her shes willing to help, and really no's what shes talking about! Shes less of a lecturer more of a movies, and apply what u learned, or presenting, typically getting u ready for real life! Higly reccomend.

I had tara for my freshman seminar and she was the best teacher i've had so far. She is very helpful and interractive. She is a little bit of a tough grader, but the class was fun overall. if you get a chance, definitely take one of Tara's classes.

Tara is simply the best teacher I've ever had. She's not the easiest, but she brings out the best in her students. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and she is an all too rare example teacher who actually cares. It was a an honor and a privilege to be in her class. Having Tara on the faculty is easily the best thing the Comm Dept. has going for it!

Heard she was tough, but class was rather easy. No hw or exams. Topic papers on book chapter due each week. Group presentation on a chapter. Another on a Health Campaign -MAJOR PART OF COURSE. Watched movies, did reviews. Very friendly prof Grades papers the way they should be graded in college, if you try your best, you'll do fine. Rec'md!
