You'll be presenting 7 times before the FINAL presentation. It sounds absurd but it actually helps with understanding your company for the final. Tests aren't bad but the Acc part is weird (AJ stag) because he'll never tell what's o the test unlike the finance guy (Kelly). The marketing guy is nice (Latella)

Comment:

Only Policy teacher where you are frequently presenting in class. Most of them are laid back and done from your desk. It keeps you on track. Mauri is a nice guy, wants to help, but he is definitely confusing with some of his directions. A bit tough to understand with an accent. BUT he graded his exams fairly easy. As long as you study, should be OK

7-8 short group presentations throughout the semester will seem annoying but make your life a lot easier when it comes to the final presentation. One of the few policy profs with ample graded assignments. Provides great feedback in office hours. Appreciates hard work and will reward you for it. Tests were challenging.

Class is boring, Presentation is a sememster killer. He is hard to understand because of his accent and because he doesnt understand the english language very well. He also repeats himself when you ask a question he doesnt know the answer too.

Very helpful teacher but the tests are a nightmare. They are worth so much of your grade so if you don't do well on one, your basically in deep s***. The project really isn't that bad as long as you have a good group. Mauri is very helpful and will do anything to see you succeed.

Comment:

Mauri is def one of the better Policy Teachers. Extremely helpful and fully cares about what you learn. If you attend class and pay attention you should have no problem. Study groups are key to Midterm and Final success.

Comment:

Tests were pretty easy. Hardest part was knowing what they wanted for the project. Too much is up in the air in terms of the presentations. Felt that things were unclear expt for tests. Class lectures were very dry (excp. Stagliano), felt like he was repeating the book the whole class period. Highest grades were A- (thats what i heard).

Knows his material. His tests are the hardest out of all my classes so far. T & F questions translate into if T give example. If false tell why. Gives real world experience with the project but doesn't let you use excel or other business tools to analyse the "business" during test time.
