Tarik is incredible. He's so interested in his material, absolutely brilliant, so much fun, and really cares about helping his students learn. He's incredibly busy and constantly traveling, but when he's there he's focused, dedicated, enthusiastic, interesting, and fun. If you do the readings he always connects to them really well.

Wow, such a different experience than previous posters (had Yousef Spring 04 like them). He's a good prof with a serious attitude problem. Disorganized. He yelled at classmates because he was quite clearly having a bad week. His exams are heinously difficult. Worse, TA was deliberately unhelpful.
