I have never had an economics class before and she has made me excited about the subject. Her classes have been very hands on with fun activities. There are many discussions in class and the way she uses the basic concepts and builds on them through the course makes it really easy to remember and make them stick.

Had online for American Economic History. Material was very boring. Whole grade consisted of weekly quizzes on multiple chapters and a few papers you had to write. I didn't really learn a lot and it was a big disappointment for me.

Worse professor in the WORLD. Doesn't know proper grammer or how to spell. Final exam was loaded with mispelled words and grammer. Response times to problems took forever and wasn't very helpful. Aweful professor out to get me the whole smester after asking questions the wrong way in class. Also if your going to take her class make sure that you live within NMU's campus because her little followers bug your proctor all the time and you will have less time to prep for an exam.

Rapid fire, vague questioning at 8 in the morning is hardly enjoyable. She is extremely disorganized, unclear and treats her students like they're 10 yrs. old. She talks about her accomplishments more than she teaches the material. She's very disappointing.

Tawni is a great professor, and her attendance policy is a good thing, she has to be there, so we had better be there too. She's very down to earth and I will be taking as many classes with her as I can in the future.

Ugh...I've never been so disgusted by a class before. First of all, this isn't middle school and its not high school...it's a 300-level class, teach like it is. Assignments were horrible, so were lectures, and there was a strict attendance policy. I would never take Tawni again.

She is a great teacher, but the course is a lot of work. There's Aplia assignments due every Sunday night. The tests are based mostly on her practice tests, which she lets you take as many times. Dont take if you are looking for an easy A... however, if you can do all your work and show up then def. take her class!
