He is a smug little man... that needs to compensate for something... by making you sound stupid... Went to all classes, stayed awake, took notes, and learned nothing from him... He gets off topic and talks about nothing useful to the life when it comes to physics.

Great teacher. He keeps you interested, but at the same time, he doesn't write a whole lot on the board. Study the book if you want to learn to USE the material (and pass the test). Go to class if you want to LEARN the material. Be prepared to write down what he says about a concept, not just what little he puts on the board.

He keeps things interesting an helps engage students. He does a great job and is good at explaining things. Attendence is not mandatory but there are in-class questions that are graded.

As everyone else says, Physics IS hard, he helped me through the semester (You have to ask him for help, he doesnt read your mind). In fact I've even been to his house for help. The guy has brains and a strong love for God. He is an awesome prof. We just need more than 3 hrs a week to learn Univ. Physics. 'nuff said

The Best Professor at Letu! If you dont want to mess around, and actually learn something take Forringer! Gives the most dynamic real-life devos, and his lectures are never boring, but be prepared to work. The best Prof. at Letu!

Forringer is one of the best physics professors anyone could ever hope to have. I expect the people who gave Forringer bad marks are those who don't do their homework, fall asleep in class, and expect to passs, just because....

If you aren't a traditional "physics" major you are in big trouble - he doesn't like non-traditional students. He doesn't care if you get it or not type guy and you should already know everything before you walk in the door.

The nice thing about Forringer is he'll keep explaining things until you get that "look of comprehension" on your face. I've found him to be very available outside class, and generally pretty helpful. He does occasionally give extremely difficult tests after promising and easy one, but will give sufficient time to work it out.

Second time I've had Dr. Ted. He is a great person and is very proficient. Definitely in competition for best prof at LETU, no lie. Clear, well-planned classes and always willing to help students if you go to his office. Class is always crunched for time, but he will always help outside of it. Physics is not a 'fun' class- it's hard. Deal with it.

I was not excited about taking Univ. Physics I and II but now I look forward to the class more than any others! He has a great sense of humour, and also tells us just what we need to know - no more, no less. I'd definitely recommend him - but be prepared to work hard because Physics just isn't easy!

Absolute worst prof at LeTourneau. Lazy - unwilling to help students outside of class. Did not feel like teaching was his number 1 priority (besides God / family) was woring on his DR and was late to class even forgot about class on accoasion - always to busy working on DR instead of helping students. Could have been a cool class - absolutorst

Dr. Forringer is a very competent teacher, and he regards teaching as his primary responsibility. He will go out of his way to make sure that you know what is going on. However, I think he is gifted in the math side of things, and expects everyone else to catch on to the math with little/no explanation. Class is difficult because the material is.

Has an attitude of superiority. Demeans students when asked questions. Told me he can't fix errors in my lab grading - go ask Dr. Ball.
