As everyone else says, he's nice and funny sometimes, but that's not what I need. If you want to take this class for credit (not interested in PHIL), then I will NOT recommend. If you're looking for a class to get an A to help your GPA, I will NOT recommend. He has a mid-term and final which you have to write in class. and one 5-page paper.

He is such a sweet guy. He is older so he is a little slow sometimes the way he talks but he makes it very clear what he expects and he is always available to help. He does like participation but will never force you to do it. I would take him again, I loved him!

Great professor! Really understanding and easy. Lot of reading in this class, but the midterm and final were super easy, he prepares you very well. Super understanding about absences, due dates, etc. Great class!

Really nice guy. Very understanding about absences, especially in poor weather. Gives you midterm beforehand and similar preparation for final. Topics are mildly interesting and pertain to life. Allows computer use but take on MWF because it can get very boring. Take this class!

Moral and social issues was basically one of the easiest classes you can ask for and still receive credit for. Professor Klein was extremely kind and easy-going. However, his class could be pretty boring. Had to write 2 papers and 1 self-evaluation. Take this class if you have a lot of other tough classes and need a break

This professor is ok. He is very clear, flexible, nice, but a bit boring. The final is open book and notes. In the papers, you have to write what you've learned in the class, not really your own opinions. This class is easily manageable.

Topics were interesting but class seemed to never end! 3 short papers and a self evaluation. Couldn't read his comments AT ALL, so if you are looking for feedback on why you got the grade you did you must meet with him. Really nice guy, very understanding of students having outside issues. Flexible with due dates.

eaaasy class. 3 papers and u can pick the topic and revise it if u do bad. no need to take notes even tho he writes stuff on the board. for the final u do a self-evaluation and say how much u learned and it will bring ur grade up. everyone laughs at the poor guy(he even laughs at himself)!!!
