Comment:

Overall, a very good and helpful professor. If you are an art major, he can be very helpful with giving connections and networking advice. He knows what he is talking about. To do well in his classes, go to class and be involved, and show effort. Beware, he has a very outgoing attitude that can sometimes be misconstrued as "annoying" or obtrusive.

Please be careful with this teacher, he definitely picks favorites and gets a little too cozy with some of them. If you take art seriously, I wouldn't recommend him. His favorite thing to talk about is himself and his stories may last all class. He is full of himself and in my opinion, not a very good artist. He has no variety in his work.

Ted is possibly the worst "teacher" ever. Each class he begins by talking about himself and about his amazing court room drawings. Other days, he talks about lousy artists who scribble for a living. Before this class I never knew there was a right or wrong way to scribble all over 300 pages of news print. Nothing worth going in my portfolio either.

he was kind of a jerk..i didnt think so when i had him as a teacher, i actually really liked him..but i have seen him be unfair when it comes to grades and he does talk about his students negatively and is very arrogant and although he was fun i learned nothing from him even if i got an A..you either love him or hate him basically.

i had ted for basic drawing and visual concepts. hes just about the easiest grader youll ever meet i sucked at drawing and still managed an a. he talks alot, but hes really funny. i didnt really like his teaching style during basic drawing, it was too laid back, but id strongly recomend anyone to take visual concepts with him that class was awesome

When i first saw him I honestly thought he was either an upper classman or maybe a grad student. He talks way too much, but he still makes class fun and really cares about his students.
