I love John's class. I've had him before but I like him even more now. He definitely does play into favorites, though. If he likes your work and you come prepared with ideas and can talk about them, you're golden.

Had him for class once and also for each portfolio crit all 4 years--he was definitely the most revered by peers on crit day. But he has very good insight and constructive criticism. Don't take some things he says too personally, he's there to help you improve what you do.

Taking computer graphics with him. I know nothing about art on the computer, he is very thorough in explaining things. He is SO helpful when he sees someone struggling. His personality is fun and great, he is always trying to make the best of every class. Love having him.

Had him for visual concepts... worst graphics class i ever had and i'm a graphic design major. usually clear on what the project was and when it was due. But other that he was ALL over the place! he'd check up on how you were doing, make suggestions, and then come time for the critique he hated things HE suggested. He was VERY hard to please!

i really like mezza b/c he is very helpful and he is hilarious. he makes class fun and he brings in candy for everyone a lot haha. i like him a lot and he was def. my favorite teacher... but i know people that can't stand him. so either you get him or you don't. depends on your personality i guess

He is really a good teacher and pretty cool person, although this may take a while to see.Seemed jerky at first, but became one my favorites by the end. Extremely funny. Will teach you the computer side of things while always keeping the Art in mind. Be committed to his class and it will pay off.

Takes awhile to warm up to him. I disliked him in the beginning, but once he sees you're doing your work, paying attention, & attending class he becomes your buddy. Very funny & knowledgeable. Don't take some of his sarcastic comments seriously. Always helps you make improvements on your projects.

He is a great teacher. Very funny. Gets the point across although he will give 10 minute crash courses on programs adobe and others if you miss the class. so don't miss!
