Dr. Hornsby is by far one of my favorite professors at Drury! She has a very open mind for a religion teacher and that is what made this course so interesting! There were so many opportunities for one to think and form our own opinions. She expects a lot from her students but in a good way. Lots of readings and papers but it was manageable.

Not a fan. Scatterbrained during instruction, and her tests are quite difficult to prepare for. Tons of reading material to practically memorize. I won't be taking her again unless it's mandatory.

Dr. Hornsby was one of my favorite teachers by far at Drury. She not only keeps the class interesting but she has some viewpoints on things that will keep you wondering throughout the course. You seriously DO have to study for her exams if you want to get a good grade! She is an amazing woman!

She's a very interesting person in addition to being a fun teacher. The class is fast paced, but she works hard to make sure we understand. The class atmosphere is very casual and we all feel comfortable asking any question, no matter how stupid.
