Ms. Nevarez was a great teacher, I took this class online and it was very enjoyable and relaxing. You do have to take the time to read and go over the chapters in the book and the power point presentations she would post on Blackboard. She gives you weekly discussions so its important you log in almost every day to post your comment.

This proff. is not difficult at all. What makes her class challenging is the fact that you have to read , study & do the assignments with time in order to pass. It is a matter of putting in the effort & not leaving anything for the last min. If you need help you can always ask & she will work with you, she is very fair & can explain more if needed.

Teacher NOT recommended! Do NOT attempt her class online! Her Test set up is absurd! You cannot go back to a previous question to change it nor can you go on to next question until you have answered the question, questions are confusing. She will NOT provide your grade or points until the end of semester. You will not have a chance to drop w/a W!

Professor Nevarez is a really hard professor who doesnt explain the criteria of the subject clearly.. Her notes are confusing and your final grade literally goes based on four assignments. Class discussions are very important in her class. I WOULDNT recommend this professor at all.

Horrible Teacher < stay away> Took this class online and there were only 3 exams, If you failed one you are screwed. Two Papers to write due midterm and will not give you a grade until finals were over. No extra credit. I asked what grade I had in case I needed to drop with a "W". She couldn't tell me. Her response was I grade during finals.

Professor Nevarez is awesome! If you miss the lectures you do miss notes which is important as that is what will be on the exams. No homework, no final just two analytical papers of political events. Greatest professor I have had at EPCC so far. Will recommend her over and over, happy I took her class.

She's such a good professor. Her lectures are great and if you take notes the tests will be easy. She never tests on things she didn't go over and if you participate you get a better grade.

Took this class online and this teacher is horrible, had to correct various mistakes she made grading my tests. Tests, discussions, and essays are the only assignments for you total grade so if you fail one youre basically screwed. Make Up test is incredibly hard, when you ask her for clarity she gives none, super vague on what she wants. Horrible!

She's not that good of a professor. She's very rude and the exams are really difficult, and she doesn't share her power points online. Absolutely not recommended. The exams are multiple choice and truefalse but really hard.

She goes off topic way too much and the class ends up discussing (more like arguing) unimportant things. Grades are based on tests and discussion. I never missed class and there was people that would just show up on test days and I got a C -_- what the? I was really upset that she doesn't give any credit to the people that would always show up!

Great professor! She makes everything as clear as possible, offers extra credit for every test, and always made us laugh! I had no interest in this subject but she always made class enjoyable. Just show up to class and pay attention and you'll pass. She gives helpful tips on how to memorize stuff too. I highly recommend her!

She is an amazing teacher!! She always makes class fun because she is always cracking jokes and all her jokes help you remeber the material. There is no homework so you cannot miss a test or any of the papers she has you turn in!! I am so glad I got her!! I got an A in the class :)
