Dr. Rupp gives up to a 100 pages of reading per class; at least 1-2 page paper is also due with the reading. The material rarely matches what we discuss in class. The class is lecture heavy and she often seems out of sorts and unorganized. She expects too much for a class that students are REQUIRED to take.

She was an awesome teacher. Very intelligent, and prepared well for classes, even bringing in props. Can be a hard class to have early in the morning, but overall was wonderful. Tests were tough, but if you get together with a group and define all the terms on her study guides, you're pretty much set. I never once got a B in her class.

Loves powerpoints, knows her stuff. Not too bad, but is nuts and can easily rambel off topic a lot. It was a relief to leave at the end of class, but when you look back, it wasn't too bad.

Give a sigh of relief when she puts a powerpoint on. It's pretty much the only opportunity for a breather. Study like hell for her exams (her study guides are extremely helpful). When she gives you a project, do the most creative ones, and she'll give you extra credit despite the fact that she says she won't.

Dr. Rupp is extremely interested in what she's teaching which can be a little over the top at 9am, but she's also a good teacher, the "Princess of the Powerpoints" as one prof called her. She's very willing to work with students out of class if there's problems.
