Professor Torres knows statistics. It's hard to take notes due to her examples and she sort of jumps back and forth with examples (just a little bit though). Her quizzes and tests are very easy if you show up and listen. She usually has no problem answering questions, although sometimes she misunderstands what you're asking.

Good for both Biostats 1 and 2. Gives you what you need to know without any other crap. Lets you make a notecard on most exams. Pay attention because she calls on people at random, take notes, and you'll do fine. No surprises on the exams, you'll know exactly what to expect. Any pharmacy major should get an A in her class.

i am HORRIBLE at math, and she make calculus bearable for me. she is very willing to help if you come in and see her. she gives you past quizzes and tests to study from, and they're very similar to the real ones. she is a very nice lady.

an awesome teacher! i really learned a lot in her class and thought she did excellently. she is sooo involved with the students' activities. i really liked her story problemes. i think she is one of the most fair teachers i've ever had.

i hated this class, but i cant do math so... shes a nice prof n a lil wacky so class is a lil fun, but not much. she's involved w/ the activites the students are in, which is nice. im sure if i had went to class i wouldve passed, and wouldnt have to retake it in the fall...

She is one of the best here at Northern. She is always willing to help if you need it. She is a little wacky, but it makes her fun. She even cares about what groups you're in & will support you whenever you have a performance or something.

very nice and willing to help, but taught only the basics which made problems confusing. only assigned homework problems when we asked her, and they were compeltely different from her test questions and not very beneficial at all. If you want nice, take her. If you want to learn, take Rader

I am definitely not a math person at all, but she made things easy to understand. If you ask for help in class, she is more than willing to explain anything. I got a B, but I had to put in some decent study time every week. If you're into math, I'm sure you'll have an easier time than I did.

I would not recommend taking Torres, she is an unfair b*tch! Radar might require more hw, but at least she will make it clear what she wants. Torres couldn't even answer questions of students in class, if it wasn't in her notes she didnt know it!
