she speech's quietly and boring. I has no fluctuation in tone. she gives tips to make your speech more entertaining then never uses them herself. this class sucks!! I would not take it if I had a choice.

This class is pretty damn easy. Everyone complaining just wants spoon feed like high school. Let's be real, this is Penn State Beaver and most of them went here because they couldn't go anywhere else. Talk to her, email her, suck up a little, choose interesting topics for speeches, and she'll love you. If you can't pass, you're dumb literally.

This is probably one of the most boring classes I have had to take. She seems to be pretty fair on grading. Buying the book for this class was a waste of money as it was never used. She tells you to read sections but she covers most of it in class.

Completely useless professor. She can't teach, picks favorites, and changes the rules for the class all the time. Additionally, I'll never understand how the professor of a public speaking class can be this god-awful at public speaking, yet here she is. Avoid at all costs.

She is a horrible teacher. SAVE yourself and DO NOT take her. She does not know how to teach. She picks favorites and if you are not one, you will not get a fair grade no matter what. She puts you to sleep. She is not clear in her syllabus & changes her 'rules' pretty much every other class. I wish I looked on this website before I registered!!

Had this teacher last year. Easily the worst professor I've ever had. The proposal project was the biggest joke and is very inconsistent with grading. She forgets deadlines for assignments or that we even had one. Should be a middle school teacher not a University professor.

Pretty critical when grading speeches. She will always find something, making it hard to get an A on a speech!! Pointless test on the syllabus! But she is very nice and helpful; willing to give extensions. She is also good as an academic advisor too.
