I've been a student of MS J from high school for years to her Modern College Class. I absolutely love her! She is always so lively and very helpful! She will go over step by step for you clear as possible. She will give you feedback. Open creativity for your dance finals while still giving you a guideline of what she is looking for.

Comment:

Ms Marta is one of the best teachers. She is so caring, funny and graceful. even though her body doesn't allow her to do as much she still tries to demonstrate. She can be a tough cookie but she really is passionate when she teaches, she gives you constructive critiques and tell you what to improve, what you're doing wrong. Don't skip class!

I've had Ms.J all of high school for dance, so I was excited to take her modern class for college. She does expect more out of you for being in college, but as long as you show up and try to fully perform the routines you are okay. She makes dance fun and the class exciting. I loved it.

She was my dance teacher in High school,and I worked as her dance aide. I wanted her to teach me in college but the class was full. She is an amazing teacher. She is more of a Hip Hop teacher, that is her favorite. But she also teaches yo Ballet terminology which is very useful for all dance. I would recommend you take her. :D

She is awesome! You can take your time on assignments and she'll even let you fix your mistakes and resubmit them... The only problem I has was that she wasn't super clear on the assignments to begin with...but that's ok since she let you fix them anyways.

Incredible teacher and person! I LOVE going to her class every week--one of the highlights of my day. She makes exersizing fun, and is VERY helpful about rehabbing injuries. Highly recommend her.
