Nice man, very passionate about what's going on in the world. He rambles a lot but as long as you have your book, or someone to talk to, it's fine. Test are extremely easy, attendance isn't that important. Buy the book for class online, bookstore charges too much.

This guy is miserable, not only that but he takes it out on students. His lectures venture into self-pity and negativity. Stay off his radar, if you have to deal with him, you will have a bad day. Painful to sit through classes, as his attitude was that we were all poor students who would never "make" it. Daily lecture on how bad we were and how we were all failing. Tested us on material not covered in class. Occasionally would snap at students, with outbursts like "shut up", and used swear words in class. Poor teaching skills. A downer.

Dr. Smith class is very hard but if you study the lecture notes, you will pass his class. Books are not perfect and he will tell you so. His class forces you to learn,and retain it too. He is an old school professor so don't expect him to give you the answers, figure it out yourself. Bring a recorder to class.

he doesn't prepare for lecture, rambles, and insults his students. he contradicts himself. he is an arrogant individual, who seems to enjoy lording his "knowledge" over students. sometimes he contradicts the textbook and expects you to trust him. avoid at all costs. i really love the subject but this man should NOT be allowed near students

Dr.Smith taught my nutrition class, and he has changed my life!!! Besides that it was mind blowing and super interesting and informative class, the professor is also very funny(I loved his sense of humor!) The tests were easy and he makes sure he covers everything. I learned a lot and not only about eating healthy.

Oh dear god, what was I thinking taking my chances? It's only been two courses and I was already contemplating to skip class. He's rude, inconsiderate, and down right boring. He goes off course ALL the time and shoves in your face how "educated" he is, consistently saying "Do you know? You probably don't know!" as if we're that dull. HORRIIBLE!

Feels like everyone should know what is happening around the world! He speaks out of topic sometimes, but is an easy teacher. All is test are based on notes and drawing; he gives you a review sheet 1 week before the test. Class is mandatory though! No more then 5 absents.

He is a really good teacher if you can get past his crabbiness! I was so afraid to take Biology because I am not a "science" type person, but I am so glad I did. I learned a lot about life, germs, food and the health care system. Very kind and helpful when you see him in private. Honestly, you can learn a lot about life in his class. Decent grader.

I liked his class. I found it hilarious whenever he would tell the class that they were all ignorant. He seems like he has a cynical attitude, but is surprisingly nice and easy to talk to. He's helpful when you ask him questions. You will learn a lot from him, as long as you aren't turned off by his somewhat abrasive personality.

He thinks every student is stupid and ignorant about health issues & the health system. In spite of his stinky personality, his exams are easy if you go to class and take notes since in the lectures he'll tell you what exactly will be in the test. I took the summer class & there was no extra credit at all. His teaching style could be much better.

HE SEEMS SCARY AND MEAN BUT HE REALLY IS NICE, UNDERSTANDING AND CUTS YOU A LOT OF SLACK. HE TELLS GREAT STORIES AND EVERYTHING HE LECTURES ON IS ON THE TEST. HE IS A VERY EASY GRADER AND THERE IS PLENTY OF ROOM FOR MISTAKES SINCE HE GIVES YOU PLENTY OF EXTRA CREDIT QUESTIONS. YOU SHOULD TAKE HIM!!
