Dr. Grande is very good at explaining things during her lectures. She has a little legal pad with notes and then basically talks to you instead of reciting a boring typed up transcript or boring powerpoint. Quizzes are easy if you pay attention/take notes. 2 Exams (midterm and final) were also very doable. Big group project at the end, but easy.

grande is a brilliant professor. she knows her evolution inside and out. her lectures are clear, engaging, and most of all, fun. poster/paper review aren't bad. mid term is choose 4 of 8 essays, final is more objective (short answer / essay). they aren't hard. READ THE BOOK, KNOW EXAMPLES. studied bout 5 hours total for class, got an A.

This course had very interesting topics, but Dr. Grande seemed to be out of it a lot of the time. She likes to say okaaaaaaaaayyy....allllriiiiggghhhtt ALL THE TIME! check out her class, and you will notice it!
