Jolliffe is a great professor. Her class work is always easy and fast and she lets you leave after you finish. Essays are pretty easy considering she gives you a wide range of topics to write about. She doesnt like cell phones, but shes easy going other than that.

Super easy class for 1301. All she ever did was show videos, she rarely even taught the class herself. Even so, her essays were extremely easy. Don't use any technology in there, but she's otherwise a super easy and calm professor. Attendance isn't mandatory but make sure you show up enough to get on her good side at least a little.

Professor Jolliffe's classes are super easy. She clearly states what she expects out of the essays and none of the essays are longer than three pages. Videos for notes, no textbook, she cancels class very often, and you get out early nearly everyday. Students have to get each piece of writing reviewed by someone in the Language Hub or online.

Ms. Jolliffe class isn't hard! It's insightful, she explains things thoroughly and encourages questions. I wish she taught English comp II and I would take her again. Attendance is mandatory though!! If you aren't there you don't get a daily grade or attendance grade. That's two separate grades :/ SO GO TO CLASS!

I took this professor for an online class, where one paper is required each week. She is terrible with keeping up with grading. Out of 7 papers submitted, she has graded 2. It makes it impossible to know what you are doing right or wrong. I would NOT recommend taking her for an online class.

took her for both my eng classes and was by far the best teacher at midland college. If you need English and you do take her just do it stop reading this ... why are you not signing up.... get this class!!!
