I enjoyed this class. Terry gives an engaging lecture making a point to involve everyone in discussion. Grading is fair, and study guides are provided by him. I would recommend this class to anyone who needs a philosophy credit.

Great guy, great teacher, and takes interest in his students. Cares a lot about what he teaches and he knows his stuff. My first experience with philosophy and now I really like the topic. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Terry is an awesome professor. He takes time to learn everyones name (which I really appreciated) and he made sure to check in with everyone in the class everyday to make sure the topic was understood by all. Philosophy can be difficult to grasp however, Terry made it easy.

MacMullan is an absolutely wonderful professor! Made the lectures worth going to, even on the worst of days. Great anecdotes to really tie into the lectures. Every class is a PowerPoint lecture but they aren't unbearable, they're actually quite enjoyable. Overall a great teacher!

One of my favorite professors I have had so far at Easter! Terry is very caring for his students, and would go out of his way practically any time to make sure every individual is accommodated to their specific needs. He truly cares about your learning and feelings as an individual. All in all, Terry is an amazing professor and person.

I had Terry ( tells students to call him by his first name) for my first online class. He is a very caring professor who understands we have other classes and provides a reasonable amount of homework (discussion posts and small papers). I loved his class and he taught philosophy in an interesting way that makes you think.

I took philosophy and pop 214 culture with Terry MacMullen and the class was amazing. Its pretty much just philosophy of Star Wars. You do read a lot and have a lot of textbooks. But the class is fun and you watch every episode except for episode 1 which is the worst episode. You have to write at least 4 papers but hes is an easy grader. TAKE IT!

He's overall a great teacher, he provides great insight into everything he talks about and he is forgiving if you screw up whether it's forgetting your books for class or not making you feel bad when you give a wrong answer. I have recommended this class to my friends and I will recommend this class to anyone who's wanting to take one of his class

Class was super fun. Mostly just focused around readings and group discussion during class with a few light papers here and there. Even though the class was easy, it was very interesting and informative, mostly because terry is awesome at reaching the material. I feel like I learned a lot and had a great time in the process.

Dr. MacMullan's (or as he had us call him, Terry) class was outstanding, a true feat of what a good collage professor can be. The class was both challenging but sophisticated and thought-provoking (HONS 101). This material could have been dry, boring and excruciating however, Terry made every effort to make it enjoyable. Plus he likes for Star Wars
