Ms. Martin is a good teacher, but I often felt lost. She was always free after class to go over questions and such, but if you missed one class she avoided you like the plague. Take this class with someone who will give you their notes if you plan on missing.

She's a lot like a high school teacher. Paying attention and not talking while she's talking is a big deal. Pop quizzes are definitely a thing but she allows notes most of the time. There have been a couple chances for extra credit. She takes the time to get to know the students by name and allows you to miss eight class periods.

Doesn't like to give partial credit. If you miss too much, even if it's easy, she'll make sure you don't pass. Passive aggressive in lectures, but amazing when you see her during office hours.

I thought Martin was a great professor! She explains new concepts by just doing it on the board. She gives a lot of examples, like a lot. Tests are a little difficult but if you pay attention in class and complete the homework the tests don't seem as challenging.

I really liked Dr. Martin. I'm terrible at anything related to math, but for once I actually understood the material. She's very helpful, ask questions in class or go to her office. There's a lot of tests, some extra credit, and quite a bit of online homework, but it's easy. Very happy I took this class from her. P.S. DON'T TALK WHILE SHE'S TALKING

Very disappointed with my experience. Worst teacher I have ever had throughout my schooling career. Don't bother going in for help, she won't help you. Very rude and does not respect her students at all. Homework was easy it was all done online, tests were always much more difficult. Don't suggest taking her classes, you will be very dissatisfied..

I enrolled in Matrix Algebra from her this past semester. Eventually I had to drop the course. She is a very nice person, but her teaching methods are poor, which is unfortunate. For example, she would do problems on the board and skip to the final solution. I became very lost because of this. In mathematics it is essential to see each step.

I took he twice and dropped her twice. DO NOT GET HER CONFUSED OR YOU WILL GET LOST!!! She is not a great teach and teaches to the ceiling a lot of the time. I wish there was a different teacher who taught this class.

As long as you go to class, do the hw, and pay attention you will pass. Her tests are harder than hw and quizzes so be prepared for that. She drops one test and one quiz. She can be a little hard to understand, and she does skip around a little, but it's not a terrible class.

Attendance isn't mandatory but she'll drop you if you miss class too much. Homework after every lecture with the occasional pop quiz. Homework isn't due until the test. Tests aren't that hard. Extra credit can really help. A notecard is allowed on the final. I thought the material was interesting, but she made it somewhat confusing at times.

Martin is a great teacher. She expects you to come prepared and show up everyday but her step by step teaching aproach is so helpful in learning. If you show up everyday and participate she will help you in any way possible...it show's you are truly interested in doing well. She doesnt give anything for free. Be prepared to make an effort.

Mrs. Martin is a wonderful person, but Matrix Algebra just isn't her cup of tea. She jumps from topic to topic, sometimes completely only half of an example before jumping to the next where she does the same thing. Eventually, a third (or fifth) example after we've changed topics will eventually supposedly tie it back together, but not clearly.

Avoid this teacher. Covers material alright, but is very hard to retain. Is somewhat approachable after class. It seems she doesnt believe in ANGEL. Tests are usually alot harder than the HW. If you take this class you might want it to be the only one you have to worry about for the semester because it requires ALOT of work.
