Great teacher. However, DO NOT but the book. You won't need it. Don't even read it. He hands out summarized notes every week in class. Just study those. That is all he will quiz on. Kind of boring class but he is a really nice teacher. My favorite this semester. Super easy as long as you can study well.

He's a great teacher and loves history, you can definitely tell. I've had him in two history classes already..American History: I got a B+ (with failing the first two tests) and Early Western Civ: I got an A. I just scheduled Later Western Civ. with him next semester. Dont need the book, read over the notes he gives you as many times as you need.

Mr. Miller is an awesome professer. He loves what he does and it shows through his work. I would highly recommend his class to anyone, even if you're not interested in History. The tests are a little hard, but if you study your practice exam questions you'll do fine.

Mr. Miller is an excellent teacher and I highly recommend him. I took the Internet class and while there was a lot of reading, the tests were easy especially if you attended the review sessions. I like that he is very passionate about what he teaches and doesn't try to trip you up--he wants you to learn.

Great professor. I loved the way he taught. He basically hands out a summarized version of the book, notes. Your test is just on those notes. You have "quizzes" every week, but they are not too hard. Just do a little studying and easy a.

Don't buy the book. You can find the maps on the intertubes and that's all you would ever need the book for, Basically he gives you a summarized version of each chapter and you study that for the weekly quizzes. Not too hard, kind of boring due to the fact that you never take notes, but not too bad.

This guy is pretty cool. He teaches from his notes that he gives you. They are a summery of the book. He is very knowlegable in history. His lec. are long and kind of boring. However, I learned a lot. I recomend him.

Over-all I found the class to be extremely boring.He actually GAVE YOU notes.and therefore-that's all you need to do is read the notes-and decipher what he writes(he writes short hand)and you're good to go.A LOT OF NOTES so going to class and actually STUDYING what he gives you is the only way to pass.I never even opened my book.he gives you it all

I found him to be very intellegent. He gives you plenty of chances to learn the material by assigning reading, giving out outlines, and lecturing in class. If you pay attention, you should get an A. If you aren't interested in learning or working, do not take.

Terry really is cool. He is very interesting to listen to. He uses words that probably a lot of people never heard of before, but just carry a dictionary with you and you will fit into the conversation. He is very helpful and is very informative. Take him, he is one of the best you can get when it comes to history. Don't goof off in the class.

he's a nice guy and all but, this class is way hard! I got a C+ and I've never gotten below a B in any other class in my life! He does try to make the class somewhat fun, but he only grades you on four tests and thats your final grade- they are really hard too. Also he is really biased to his own opinion, rather than teaching historical fact.

This class was super easy.I really didn't learn a thing but i got an A-. So if you want an easy class take it. I didnt pay attention during class and just crammed for 20 mins before the test and did really well. He was a nice guy but didnt care for the format of the Class. To easy not to learn.
