If you pay attention in class she will basically do all the work for you. I learned a lot regarding grammar and punctuation and she tells you exactly what she wants regarding papers. Very sweet lady.

Although she gives a lot of writing assignments and grammar homework, she's pretty cool. As long as your essays are clear and have no grammar errors, passing this class will not be that difficult. She only gives us a lot of homework because she wants us to practice our writing more so that we can be better at it. Overall, she is a fair grader.

She is a nice woman. However, her class had a lot of unnecessary homework assignments such as grammar practice. She was very particular about using the new MLA format and grades essays for grammar rather than content. The group project is a good way to boost your grade though.

Her class was absolutely AWFUL. She gives too many unnecessary assignments that do not help with writing AT ALL. Super anal about work cited and grammar. Worst professor I have ever had. I was really disappointed. It felt like I was in high school because of the commas in sentence practices she made us do.

Her curriculum is grammar based because many college students do not know English grammar. The group project is on the same topic as the paper, so it is not too difficult to research and prepare for.

Focused too much on grammar and not enough on our ability to write well-planned essays. I think it was 2 essays, 1 research paper, and 1 oral report. Oral report is a group-based grade which sucks especially if you have bad speakers. But she is always there for help. Try to get an A in homework, that'll help your grade too.

She was a nice professor and all, but she grades TOO harsh on grammar. It gets pretty ridiculous, she constantly said that my essays were strong but because of comma splices I couldn't get an A or a B. She was helpful in class but her grading sucks ass.

Gives a lot of homework on top of reading. Very clear on what she expects from you. Her essays are very boring but easy enough. Group project is stupid but at least she grades people separate. Not a bad teacher, but glad I won't have to take her again.

She seems like a nice person, but a horrible teacher. She grades based on how well you can use a comma. Her outlines for her essays are stupid and so is her homework. I didn't learn anything in her class other than how to please her and she didn't make me a better writer either.

Spaise was extremely difficult because there was such an attention to grammar & punctuation. In the long run, this helps a lot in other subjects; however, sometimes it does becomes too much. An entire grade may be taken off an essay for grammar alone. Overall, she's very helpful, but very particular. Not for those who want an easy A or B.

She is an awesome professor! she cares about her students and if you attend her office hours she will definitely help you get an A on a paper. She cares a lot about grammar and punctuation, which will determine if she gives you a B or an A. Overall, great professor.

A brilliant pofessor! I learned a great deal in her class, and she made everything extremely clear. Just go to every class, do the work, and you'll get a good grade. She is very helpful and the book are all interesting. She grades on both context and grammar, not just grammar. Overall, a great professor!

She doesn't really care much about content in comparison to organization and grammar. If your papers have nearly perfect grammar and organization, it will automatically get a high B/low A.

I absolutely HATED her at first - but then I warmed up to her. She's actually a good teacher that explains really thoroughly. The only thing is she's really anal about grammar and punctuation, and esp. WORKS CITED. Other than that, she's an easy grader.

She is very old and when she got sick she was out 2 weeks!!! She is very difficult with grammar.Pay attention to your format of essays and grammar and you can get an easy "A". Seriously.Quizes are okay. But you must read, and she expects you to answer questions in class. IF you do not she will assume off the bat you didn't. ALWAYS PROOFREAD ESSAYS

Attendance is very important. Reasonable amount of homework assigned weekly. Extremely helpful during office hour. Stresses on grammar, puncuation, and work citation. Tip: read the assigned reading for she might give a quiz on it, try to finish your essay a week before it's due for it will be helpful to proofread your paper a couple times.
