Great lab professor. Organic is hard but she gives great feedback and helps as much as can, and gives great feedback. Gives you the grading rubric so you know exactly what you need to put in the lab report. She won't hold your hand which some people want. Very knowledgeable and goes the extra mile.

Dr. Sielecki is already likely to be the best lab professor I've ever had. In the beginning i was terrified of organic lab because the smallest mistake can kill the whole thing so i had no confidence. the feedback she gave me both in the lab and on my reports taught me a lot and my confidence grew every week. Expect to be pushed but in a good way.

I had her for chem 104 and I will admit she was a tough grader and teacher. I did not do well in that class. However I haf her for Organic lab 1 and she was by far one of the best lab professors I have ever had. She is extremely helpful and has given me a lot of advice as far as direction on where to go in my career.

Went into this class hoping to get a good grasp on chemistry as I'm a pre-med major. I was extremely disappointed. She could care less about your grade. Started the semester off with "I expect 40% of you to fail." Great way to begin.

She marked two entire pages of redox reactions with a big old X right through them. There is NOTHING wrong with these and she didn't tell me why she took the points off. I am a chem major, I love chemistry, I'm good at chemistry. She does not know how to teach, nor how to talk to people. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. She assumes far too much.

Never puts grades up on D2L so you are left in the dark for the entire semester. Zero to little opportunities for extra credit. Not helpful during office hours. I taught myself everything I knew during this class. Doesn't care if you are struggling. Drop the class if you can. Its not worth the stress.

Awful teacher. Takes slides off the internet and just reads them to you in class. Doesn't explain anything. Only thing she talks about is how she knows somebody who blew up because they didn't do this or that. Unless you want to teach yourself, stay away.

Incredibly helpful when asking for suggestions or advice. she is also very social and talked to everyone in the lab. she points out a lot of the small, important details that need to be included when doing the lab write up, as well as important lab procedures that carry onto the 232L. great lab instructor.

She is the absolute worst chemistry professor I have ever seen. Not only is the material bad, but she makes it worse by never explaining where numbers come from, doesn't explain principals or practice problems, and also add useless information. She incredibly pesimistic when teaching and doesn't care if you pass or fail! DONT TAKE THIS CLASS EVER!!

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!! Worst class I have ever taken. Withdrew midway through the semester because I didn't want my GPA to drop. Gives insane amount of homework, nothing is explained clearly, and don't even bother trying to teach yourself from the textbook.

This class was the worst! It was extremely fast and not explained at all. several things that we needed to know were explained as far as "you need to memorize this" I would NOT take this again. & in previous CHE classes i was told how to do this as opposed to "just memorize this"

Completely anal, if you don't get on her good side you're so screwed it's not funny. I didn't see one-half of one question on a 3-question quiz and got a 40%.

Really nice, but anal when it comes to blue books. Pregnant now, so might not be in for the F03 semester. She does her best to be helpful and explains each lab in advance which helps a lot.
