Comment:

Excellent teacher and his classes are not as hard as people make them out to be. If you show up, study, and ask questions you will do well. He is very impatient. He is intelligent and will help you if you seek him outside of class. His marriage and family class is the only one I did not enjoy, as I feel some of his teachings there were unbiblical.

Hes a great teacher but will just not hand you a good grade, you have to work hard for it by coming to class and doing well on the daily quizzes, he prepares you every well if you plan on taking higher level ECON courses. He will also help you out with your final grade if you put forth effort throughout the course.

People who are upset at Thaxter for his lack of patience and difficult classes are slackers and lazy. He is brilliant, and unlike most of FC's teachers, made you work. The work ethic I got from him got me through college with a 3.5 GPA. Too many FC kids are home schooled dorks are just oblivious bums who will leach off their parents forever.

He didn't need notes to teach the class, he just stood up there and talked the whole time - he's brilliant. He busted out with some words that I didn't even know existed. Marriage and family was excellent. I still remember things he told us four years later. His tests are pretty tough - study well and get plenty of sleep.
