Wow! Her class was the worst class I've taken in my entire scholastic career. AVOID! An A or a B isn't hard to pull off, but to do assignments you more or less have to teach yourself. Ask her to help you and she'll seem very annoyed that you did. She's addicted to World of Warcraft (no joke), and doesn't grade homeworks till the end of the year.

teacher didn't explain things well, mumbled a lot, and seemed very uninterested in everything she was teaching. turned in 11 assignments over the semester, but weren't returned until the last 2-3 days of class. the tests were actually fairly easy though. overall, very boring class and not a very good teacher, but A or B is definitely managable.

I had the unfortunate fate of having Lamb twice.....and I never really did learn COBOL. If it wasn't for the lab monitors, and slide shows that another professor made I might not have done so well in her classes. Unfortunately in CPS/CIS 242 is unavoidable, so my suggestion is take the class with friends, or make friends and study together, or hurry up and become and MIS major while there still is time!

she might know more about C++ than i will ever know, but getting her labs done on time is almost impossible without asking the student aids at least 5+ questions. Also, her knowledge of computers is very outdated.

Only took half of a year of CPA 150 and changed my major to Accounting from CIS because she could not teach. She does not have the people or communication skills necissary to teach. I'm sure she was/is a very good programmer, she should stick to computers

She is the reason I changed majors from Comp. Information Systems to Criminal Justice Studies. She is still teaching, which tells me how little the Computer Science Department (or whoever is in charge of facullty) values student evaluations.
