Homework every week but it isn't hard, optional final and non cumulative exams. if you want an A READ THE TEXTBOOK, some of his test questions are straight from the book and they can be a bit tricky. Interesting class and not super hard to do well.

Lectures are interesting, but honestly kinda draining because there's so many slides and information to take down. He also talks really fast and rushes through powerpoints. You also have to do weekly modules. This class isn't boring, but there's a good amount of work required to get a good grade. Fair grading criteria and class schedule.

Highly recommend this course, so insightful. Devos is clear with his content, no ambiguity. If you do the work and study for the tests, show up to class and get the class activities, you should do well

didn't always feel like the test material was covered in the lectures but at least the lectures were interesting. the tests were about as difficult as a multiple choice test can be but he drops your lowest score. online homework is really easy and is worth almost half of your grade so make sure to do it.

Dr. Devos is an excellent professor and he really is intelligent! The lectures are always interesting to attend to and very informative. The assignments are a bit much but they really help you in the learning process. Honestly, exams were pretty challenging. You really have to put effort in the class! I totally recommended him. He's funny and cute.

Very kind, very brilliant man, but makes the material more complicated than it is. Difficult to follow during lecture because of French accent and because he speaks VERY rapidly. (Keep in mind he is fine with being asked to slow down). Study your backside off in this class and you'll do well, but most of his exams have a mean of around 76%. beware.

This class was the perfect combination of reading, in class lectures and online lectures and homework. Good amount of extra credit. There's a lot of reading involved but the material is really interesting and applicable. If you do the reading and thoroughly review the materials you should get a good grades on the tests. You must apply yourself!

Spring semester just started, however I HAD to compliment Dr. Devos on his amazing teaching style. He is engaging, and puts effort into his weekly modules, he's crystal clear in assignment expectations--no reason to have questions. So far (early in the semester) the BEST there is... I highly doubt my thoughts will change!

Very interesting subject and fairly easy to get an A or a B. Grade is composed of participation points (really easy group assignments), some online assignments, and 5 tests (no cumul final and drops the lowest). I didn't really read the book and got an A. Posts all power-points and provides study guides. Going to class really helps understand.

Interesting class. Not easy but doable. His tests include material from lecture, book readings and online lectures/activities. He also offer a lot of extra credit. There is a lot to keep track of, but you will learn real-life applications of psychological concepts.

There are modules each week with activities on top of lengthy chapter readings. Then there are lectures and additional readings online. It was very hard to pin point exactly what to focus on for the tests since there was so much information in many different places.

He's a great professor. For the summer course, it was 2 modules per week with each module containing lectures and 2 activities. 25 multiple choice exams (I thought they were easy.) I just read, took notes, and listened to the lectures then reviewed everything the night before the exam and got all A's on the exams. Would take again!

Awesome prof and awesome class! Took him during the summer online and it wasn't an easy A but definitely doable. Textbook helps but you'll survive without it. Take very good notes during lectures and study those and you'll do great. Assignments and lectures are interesting too!

This is not an easy class, but those are the fun ones! ;) Lectures are all posted online, but going to class really clarifies them and breaks them down, since they're full of information. In-class activities. 4 exams, 3 and a cumulative final, however, if you do well on first 3, final is optional. He's extremely passionate about the subject!

great prof. 3 tests (75%) and participation points (25%). his Powerpoints are REALLY detailed so you don't need the book! do the study guides! tests have LITTLE AMOUNT of book material so just check it out from the library reserves when doing your study guide! btw he's pretty attractive

Professor Devos is not an easy A but an easy B. You need to come to class to earn participation points with easy activities. Do the research extra credit it really helps! You really need to read the book and study the material because his tests can be quite challenging.
