Good prof all-around, but definitely grades big assignments and exams harshly. Take care to study before exams and youll have no problem. He gives plenty of extra credit opportunities, so its super easy to make up for lost points on assignments.

FIRST: there is a ton, a TON of homework that is not listed on the syllabus that you should be prepared to do--- plans to go out this weekend? not in this class, prepare to watch 2 hours of tornado videos. SECOND: the exams always have information that wasn't on the study guide so good luck there the whole class has a very high school feel.

This is the worst class ever. The professor barely helps out, and is the worst when it comes to understanding. He also admits that he doesn't know the answers to your questions, or that he just most of the time makes them up. Literally takes all of my energy just to go to class in the morning. If you're not a science major don't take this course.

Ridiculous grading scale. I never know what he expects on exams and he never replies to emails. Tries to be funny and clever but can't answer basic questions, which is super annoying. Unless you are a science major I would avoid any of his classes.

If it were not for the fact hat htere are 60+ students in this class, most of whom could care less about geology, it would be far more interesting. Wilch puts togehter nice powerpoint presentations and is tech. savvy.
