Although he looks like a Keebler elf, he's the worst English teacher I've ever had. Boring and gets ridiculously offtopic most classes, and does not let his classes out early. Focuses on Shakespeare and Poetry. Doesn't have a clear rubric for his grading- will give B's and C's "just because". I didn't learn ANYTHING in his class, but it was EASY.

This guy is a really bad teacher. It just seems as though he has been teaching way too long and is burnt out! You cannot understand a thing that he says for he seems to mumble only to himself. It is a really easy class but pointless.

very nice guy but extremely boring. 2 tests for whole class and 1 paper. they all make no sense whatsoever. buy the books but no need to read them, he reads the important parts in class so make notes in books. very hard to stay awake but mostly because no one talks in class so he just does it. attendance matters so go to this class.

I personally think he is an easy grader. Def can be really boring, but that's usually if no one else participates in the discussion. I think we got let out 4 minutes early ONCE, otherwise, we were always kept until the very last minute...

If you're going to take a class with him, bring caffeine pills or speed and still expect to fall asleep. He knows what he's saying but he is DRY.

Passionate about his classes, all he really wants is a good conversation. If you can display thought, you can't help but ace his classes, even a 410-01Heidegger language theory class. He often doesn't make sense to people, and he's out there. His classes are torture if people are unwilling to carry on an in depth conversation, as is often the case.

Comment:
Unquestionably one of KSC's quirkiest teachers, Prof. Antrim was scholarly without being condescending and displayed an obvious passion for his subject and skill in imparting the pertinent details on to his classes. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and I have since gone on to teach literature classes myself and have modeled one of them after a class of his in which I was a student.

Very unique teacher. Incredibly passionate about his subject, teaches almost entirely through in-class discussion. Requires a ton of reading outside of class (go figure), but all he really wants is have a discussion about books. English freaks will love
