west-islamic relations is a really interesting, worthwhile, and novel class if you're into the subject. heavy reading, but if you're smart you can get away with only doing about 20%. plus, you get to be part of this published annual paper on west-islamic dialogue. be warned, though, this class is for doves not hawks.
