Like everyone said, go to class, do the labs, start EARLY on your project, and you should get an easy A. Denney's a pretty cool guy to talk to, and the TAs were great too. The project's pretty fun if you have a good and diverse group. Lectures aren't really pertinent and there are no tests. Project/reports/etc are half of your grade though.

Dr. Denney was a solid professor. He taught relatively pointless material in lecture, but the design project was really cool to play with. Don't miss more than three classes and turn in lab memos, and you should be set for an A in the class.

You don't really need to waste your money on a book. The only time it is used is once in lab and someone else will probably have it. The project is a lot of work, but I found it pretty fun. Playing with Legos for college credit. Go to class and start the project early.

He is a really nice and funny guy. You have to go to all of the classes because he gives a quiz every class(there really easy). If you miss more than 3 days you fail the class.You have to start on the project early and it is alot of work for an intro class. The labs are hard to understand and sometimes long.

Random is no where near as hard as linear was. The first test is definately harder than the second or the final test, but its still not hard either. Find old quizzes and you'll do fine on those.

Hadn't taught class in several years, took a while to get back into material, but relatively good at it. Gave easy quizzes every friday, acts a fourth of final grade. Pretty good teacher, and funny if you let him be. Usually puts at least one ridiculous question on every test though. Easy A if you do work.

Obviously did not care about class while teaching. However, I still got a lot of information from the class. If you are motivated and take action on your own, class is fine. If your group slacks, work harder, and you can get your group grades improved. Project takes FOREVER, too much time.

A great professor. Teaching very clear and is willing to help any student grasp the material. Made the class interesting and is more than willing to answer any question in class to help clarify a point. I would take any course he teaches and recommend him to anyone. Cool, he rides a motorcycle!

Easy class as long as you have a good motivated group. My group was horrible and sat on their butts the whole time so towards the end it became very stressful. Lectures were pretty interesting. If you need help, ask the main GTA.
