Love him! Taking ASL 1 and enrolled for ASL 2!! He is completely deaf, total immersion! Makes learning sign fun, and easy for all levels! His motto is "If you're laughing, you're learning!"Can't be shy in his class!! Tons of student to student interaction!! HIGHLY recommend!!

Professor Driscoll is great! He moves at a decent pace & switches up his techniques (lots of whole-class signing games). He is 100% willing to clarify the material if you are unsure before moving on with class (Just raise your hand & ask!) He is deaf, and has a "voice-off" rule, so it's pretty much full immersion. DEFINITELY recommend this guy!! :)

Professor Driscoll is one of the best teachers I've had. He makes sure to explain something until you understanding. He is funny and it's obvious that he really cares for his students. I'd highly suggest taking his ASL class. I had never taken ASL before, and I learned so much!!! Great teacher!

This was one of the best classes I have taken. The professor was never rude, though he was sarcastic in a GOOD way. You have to be willing to get up in front of the class and make an idiot of yourself, but relax its fun and we all laughed at each other and learned at the same time! Just make sure you practice the signs regularly!

I have taken two semesters with Tom. He teaches not only sign language but about deaf issues which gives a student an understanding of the importance of communication. I have never seen him act rude or arrogant. This is a good class and I would recommend it!

This is the best class I've ever taken. Lots of one on one and you have to be willing to get up in front of your peers, but it is a class you will never forget
