JLaw is a very difficult class, however Eveslage teaches the class very well. Prof. Eveslage is more than willing to help you out as long as you put in the effort. There are 3 tests throughout the semester along with some homework and quizzes mixed in. I highly suggest you keep up with the reading, and take good notes both in lecture and from book.

Awesome teacher. Journalism and the law class was hard, but Eveslage goes above and beyond to help you do well. Constantly posting info on blackboard that is extremely helpful. Good guy.

i loved Eveslage! he really wants u to do well. if u listen and take good notes, study a decent amount for tests, and just follow his directions you'll do good. Lectures a little borings sometimes, but reading the text can help clarify the notes. plus he is adorable!

I wouldn't take this guy again. He knows his stuff, but his tests are really hard, and long!! And you get a ton of points taken away if you miss a single class.

A great teacher. His Journalism and the Law class is tough. A real old school guy, he doesn't take much crap. But he's enthusiastic and keeps class interesting. Class attendance is mandatory. Either that or read the bone-dry textbook. Former Department chair, he is a good guy to know.

Outlines the class clearly, and tells you exactly what you need to know and what you don't need to know. It's a very useful and interesting course taught well.

Good class, but he's a lil annoying I've had other law classes and this one interests me least now, there is still things to be learn but he's boring (as well as a lil annoying) so it really drains your interest. Be prepared to take excellent notes it's the only way you'll pass the test.

He's the single most important professor to get to know at Temple if you want to be a serious journalist. Completely fair: if you challenge yourself and do what you need to do, he'll always be on your side.

Highly recommended teacher. He is straghtfoward and fair. I got A's and B's in all the exams w/o purchasing the book, just follow his study guides. He's enthusiastic and really knows what he's talking about. He makes himself available just ask him if you are unclear about something.

I feared this class for a long time. However, once enrolled I found that I actually enjoyed it. If you pay attention in class, the tests are manageable (a combo of essay and multiple choice). The case abstracts he has you do are kind of a ****, but you learn a lot from them at the same time.

Hands down the best teacher I've had at any educational level. Lectures are interesting, class is nicely structured, & workload is pretty light (3 case abstracts ~400 words apiece, & 1 600-800 word case analysis). I pulled an easy A without reading the text & liked the class so much that I wish I could take it again.

His test are all mutltiple choice, like 75 questions and you have 50 minutes to do it. The midterm and final are like 70% of your grade. There is not too much reading but all your studying depends on class notes.
