Hard prof! Stuggled through most of the semester. He does offer extra help before and after class which i recommend you go to. Tests are nothing like HW. Very old school kind of guys. Look to schdule someone else if you can

the homework packets are so easy! the tests, however, are a million times harder than anything in the packets, and he takes those problems from the book, so the book really won't help you. avoid scheduling him at all costs. I'm not the only one with this problem. if you're really good at math, then you will be fine.

Very "old school." Tests nothing like the examples in class despite him saying that they are. MUST do homework. If you are proficient in math, you will be fine. Tends to "elementarize" his examples(using fruits for variables and exponents).Personally a nice guy, just a hard prof.

The in class examples are easy. The tests are hard. He has low tolerance for laziness, so if you plan to do well, work at it, do all the homework, and ask questions. Don't ask him for help if you didn't do the homework, he won't help. If you do the homework and need additional help, he will spend hours of his own time to assist you.

DO NOT TAKE HIM! I got a 98% in math 21 and I took him for math 22 and ended up getting a D. He will tell you that to pass his class you have to do an hour of problems a day. Its absolutely terrible!

I ended up dropping his class because I was pretty sure I would either fail or get a bad grade, and I'm normally really good at mat. If you are like most taking this because you are going into business I suggest try a different teacher, it most likely will drop your gpa, even if you get extra help.

His in class teaching isn't that great or helpful but if you go to his office hours than he'll clear things up perfectly. The key to his class is "Practice x3". His first test I bombed b/c I didnt go for help but the following tests I got a 92% and 103%. He's not tough just keep asking questions and studying. He's really willing to help.

Mr. Kachur is probably the worst math teacher I've had, and I LOVE math. The whole class is lost half of the time. I still pulled a decent grade, but watch out for the final it was definitely tough. Avoid him though, there's MUCH better teachers for 022. He will show you the wrong way to do things, then the correct way. Very confusing! 1/10 *s

didn't learn one thing from him.yes he gives bonus points but he only calls on girls that sit inthe front row.good luck to ya guys cuz he won't call on you and if you get a problem wrong on the test he marks it completely wrong instead of giving you points for effort. i seriously would have a B instead of a D in that class if it weren't for that

This is the only D I have ever gotten in my college career. He is into making students feel dumb and picks favorites. Yea, he offers bonus points if you answer his questions but he picks who he wants. Tests are extremely hard; grades like a NAZI (only tests and quizzes). Should grade on homework, attendance and participation but that's too much!
